Boilers

An essential part of any hydronic heating system, the boiler is responsible for heating water to the desired temperature before passing it through the pipework where it heats the home. We have a number of boilers for home heating to choose from, ensuring that you’re able to find the best match for your system.

What sorts of boilers are available?

All of the hydronic boilers that we supply have been manufactured in Europe (the home of hydronic heating) and shipped to us here in Australia. We have two types to choose from – standard (which have a lower purchase and installation cost) and condensing (which are cheaper to run in the long term). We can also supply internal, external, commercial and heating/domestic hot water options.

What size boiler should I choose?

This is a difficult question to answer, as it ultimately depends on the size of your hydronic heating boiler system. A unit that is too small will have to work overtime to meet your needs, whereas one that is too large is less efficient. Our team can help you to choose the most appropriate size for your needs, taking into account how many zones you have and how big each of these zones are.

Do in floor heating boilers offer any benefits?

In actual fact, yes they do! The operating costs of boilers for hydronic heating systems are actually much lower than those of other systems, which saves you money. They take up very little space (combi units can even be mounted on the wall) and are very easy to install. They can also be environmentally friendly, depending on your choice of fuel source and if the correct size has been chosen.
